About
I am a writer and photographer from South London. I’ve lived and worked in various countries, including a five year stint in Ireland.
Although my interests vary wildly, everything I produce is broadly motivated by a pursuit of social justice. My academic work ranges from the sociology of sport, and the influence of sports, sports media and athletes on enacting social change, to the societal power of the means of sex and pornography. I am also interested in photography as a creative and potent tool for communication and media.
I earned both my Bachelor of Arts, First Class Honours and Master of Philosophy degrees from Trinity, College Dublin, although in different departments, before returning to London to complete my Master of Arts degree at Birkbeck, University of London.
Currently, I enjoy working in two unique primary schools in South East London. I look forward to going back to university to explore these issues further through doctoral research.
